I've heard FIBA give a disposition to all federations , that every player who's called to answer to the national team , is FORCED to say yes and play for that national team , it doesn't matter the championship .
It is true ?
Pls , tell me , cause in my country are a lot of questions about this problem . Because they don't have an insurance policy , are many players who doesn't want to play and risk the future . And the federation says that FIBA forced them to play , no matter what .
I'll wait for your answer .
Thx

that is true...
local federation force them and if they don't they get punished by not playing with their teams 2-3 games. Of course most of the time both parts come to agrement "if you don't want to play then I dont want you to play for me." where is your country?
