FIBA Europe Coach Section

This secondary break is based on a basic one guard fastbreak situation.
The intention is to get the post player in a quick scoring position.

The fast break starts with a quick outlet pass to the PG. O2 and O3 are lane runners. The post player sprints on the rim-rim line. O4 trails.

First scoring opportunity is the low post pass to O5.

If O5 is not open, O1 cuts under the basket.

Swing the ball on the other side.

O1 cuts to the wing spot, while O3 sprints straight to the defender of O5 to set a hard back screen.

O5 fakes high and curls backwards around his defender and close to the screen to get open on the low post position.

As soon as O5 cuts to the low post, O4 starts to set a pick the picker situation.

When O3 receives the ball, O4 and O3 play a pick and roll situation, while the other players rotate on the open spots.

Instead of playing the Pick&Roll situation you can as well play a Pick&Pop, if O4 is a good shooter
