Graphic N°: 1 This zone offense works perfectly against a 2-1-2 or 2-3 zone defence. You need to have good outside shooters, also the 4 position must be able to shoot. You want to attack the free throw line and keep the defence busy rotating.
Graphic N°: 2 4 players always move with the same rules and it is a motion offence. Player on the free throw line steps out towards the ball to the three point line, opposite forward cuts HARD to the free throw line and player at the guard position rotates to an open spot on the help side for a skip pass. O5 stays behind the defensive line. He is reading the situation and adapts to it, but makes his own decisions when and where, within his area, to cut.
Graphic N°: 3 If you cannot hit the player at the free throw line, then swing the ball and start a new rotation.
Graphic N°: 4 If the ball is passed to the free throw line all other players get in a shooting position.
Graphic N°: 5 When the ball is passed to O5 in the short corner, player on the free throw line cuts to the basket and opposite wing player cuts to the free throw line.
Graphic N°: 6 If there is no inside pass possible, first cutter (O2) rotates out and we are back in the set up.
