Graphic N°: 1 This is a continuity offence designed to create scoring options in the low post. The initial alignment is a 2-3 set up. The initial positions are:
Ball side guard (imaginary key line extended), helpside guard (imaginary key line extended), ball side post (low block), helpside post (low block), ballside corner.
Graphic N°: 2 O1 starts the offense with a ball reversal to O2. O5 clears the post by cutting to the corner. O3 uses O4 as a screen and cuts to the ballside post. O1 sets a down screen for O4, who cuts to the helpside guard position.
Graphic N°: 3 Continuity:
O2 reverses the ball to O4. O1 clears the post by cutting to the corner. O5 uses O3 as a screen and cuts to the ballside post. O2 sets a down screen for O3, who cuts to the helpside guard position.
Graphic N°: 4 Post feed:
If O4 is overplayed, O1 passes the ball to the corner, and O3 feeds O4 in the post.
Graphic N°: 5 Double screen:
If X3 anticipates the backscreen and cheats over the baseline side to the middle, O1 comes down and sets a double screen together with O4. O3 fakes to the ballside and flare cuts. O2 can make a skip pass.
Graphic N°: 6 Back door vs. overplay:
If X2 overplays O2, in order to prevent the ball reversal, O5 cuts to the high post. O1 passes the ball to O5, while O1 cuts back door to the basket. O5 can feed O1.
Graphic N°: 7 Back door lob vs. overplay:
If X2 overplays O2 and X5 overplays O5, O5 fakes a cut to the high post and cuts backdoor to the basket. O1 is looking for a back door lob.
