Goals / purpose / skills
A conditioning drill that includes passing and catching the ball on the move, scoring uncontested layups, and keeping mental concentration for two and a half minutes without any mistakes.
Variations
Increase the number of baskets needed, or the amount of time the drill is run. Run the drill passing to the right side first, which will create left handed layups.
Tips / Hints / Emphasis
Have all players call out the number of baskets every time, and have the player passing and receiving the ball calling each other's name as well as the receiver signalling where they would like the ball to be passed.
