Description
You have 4 players in the key on defence, and 4 players outside of the key on offence. The defensive players are on the inside and the offensive players are on the outside. You have two players outside the three point line waiting to get the ball. The drill starts by one of the players outside the three point line shooting a three pointer. The players on defence have to box out the players on offence to get the ball. If the offence gets the rebound they try to score. If the defence gets it they pass it to one of the outlet players. If the offence scores they get 2 points. If the defence gets the ball they switc to offence, and offence becomes defence. The game will be played to 10 points, with the losing team running a penalty.

This drill will improve team boxing out.

Tips / Hints / Emphasis
Stress the correct technique of boxing out. Make sure that your offensive players go with full strength to the rebound.
