Description
In this drill there are three players, two with a ball, one without a ball. The drill starts with a jump shot from O1. Right after the first shot O2 shoots his ball too. Simultaneously O1 grabs his own rebound, passes the ball to O3 and find a new shooting spot. O2 does the same thing but passes the ball to O1 and finds a new shooting spot for himself. Simultaneously O3 shoots his ball, goes for his own rebound and passes the ball to O2. This process continues for 5 minutes.
Goals / purpose / skills
To warm up; to practice passing skills, footwork, shooting, spacing and rebounding techniques.
Variations
Each player should score 5 shots in a row (15 for the whole team) to increase the skill level of the drill.
Tips / Hints / Emphasis
The players should use correct shooting mechanics. The players should not hurry their shot. The position of the shooting spots should be switched after each shot.
