HIC-Bredde is located at Horsens, Jutland and is a club with 230 members. We have 170 youth players divided into 17 teams. The players are between 6 and 18 years old.
The club is in a rising development period where we get more and more youth players. The boys youth department has won the Danish championship, The Danish cup finals and Nordic championship the last couple of years.
In the ambitions of the club we want to start developing girls’ basketball. The club has decided that some of the present boys coaches are going to coach the girls teams. In consideration of that, we are looking for a head coach who is going to take care of 5 teams. On every team there will be an assistant coach who is going to help out at games and practices. There will also be team managers who will take care of practical issues such as car pools, official duties, wash of uniforms etc.
HIC-Bredde can offer:
• 675 Euro a month
• Own apartment (one room white kitchen and bath).
• Possibility of working part time till about noon.
• Personal development of own coaching skills.
• Possibility of renegotiate a one year extension of the contract
HIC-Bredde are looking for a person who:
• Has experience coaching youth players
• Can speak English
• Wants to go to a foreign country and experience another culture combined with basketball.
